Juan van Emmerloot
Juan van Emmerloot is a drummer and music producer from The Netherlands.
He started playing drums at the age of 10 studying drum set and classical percussion at a local music school. At the age of 13 he joined his first band. The next step he took was intensive musical training at the Rotterdam Conservatory in the Netherlands.
From 1993 he played on stage with various guitar players and singers such as: Mick Moody & Bernie Marsden (White Snake), Walter Trout (John Mayal Band), Poppa Chubby, Omar Dykes (Omar & The Howlers). In the years following, Juan performed on tour in Europe with some of the world's greatest guitarists: Snowy White (Pink Floyd, Thin Lizzy), Mick Rogers (Manfred Man's Earthband), Pat Travers and Steve Lukather (Toto) and Stef Burns League (SBL).
As a music producer Juan created a network with independent artist/musicians and delivered recording productions for John Bundrick, Snowy White, Jan van Oort, Frederike Schonis, Stef Burns and many local artists.

Ferdi started writing with the idea to create an duet-Type-a- song... hearing Syssi's voice he made contact and from there on...... Syssi Mananga & Ferdi Lancee together wrote this piece of music... Ferdi wrote the "european"part en Syssi the "african"part... as the song develloped they asked BM member and great drummer Juan van Emmerloot to complete the "groovy"part of the song...

Frederike is a jazz singer and songwriter born in,- and originated from the Netherlands. Juan is a rock / pop producer/drummer and composer originated from Indonesia but living in Holland. This piece of music is created in memory of a dear friend - musician who passed away not so long ago.
This song is a reaching out to those who struggle and can't see the rise of another day or better days. Music has saved me in dark times and I feel I need to send a message that better times will come. I see and feel the pain and the struggle and I am asking to "hold on...stay with me, the sun will rise...I’ll be here, you sleep, rest and dream of sunlit meadow dreams...." I am trying to offer a safe place where to rest....
