I am a creative using music as a catalyst to invoke love, peace, and understanding to all that hears. Musically, I am a bassist, composer, and educator. It is important to me that we not only create, but we build those who will come after us. "When you learn, teach." I believe in the healing power of music and believe that it is the bridge to many of the issues in the world today. History shows that our culture can be found through our art. People will fade away, but our art will be here for centuries to come. When they look back centuries at what BEYOND MUSIC has done musically, they are going to say this changed peoples lives. People learned to love again regardless of cultural or racial differences. I believe in the power music and it's ability to heal. I strongly believe that through collaboration and understanding, we can heal the world!

VIDALA DE LA ESPERA Suddenly everything stopped in infinite silence. Humanity is on pause waiting for its destiny. It is time to make a decision, the wind hides his voice, and nobody hears the music of the spheres. We must be one again: Humanity and Mother Nature. The song talks about the relationship with our planet and expresses the wish to go back to the start and begin again. Just like a love relationship that has hit a hard time and you wish you could start over and get past the old hurt. 'What will remain when the cold winds blow the leaves away? In the pouring rain. Will we find love, can we begin again?'MORE LESS
Randy: It's a poetic image using a metaphor of the world spinning around its axis as a dance and since, the planet's life is at risk, we decide to join pleading for mercy of life of the planet to continue by strategically asking whatever thing or thug that places the world at risk of dying to at least let it get one last dance. It's when you are left with no options and decide to reason out with the who hold's your life in his or her hands. Also since i believe music uplifts the spirit so it only naturally seems fair when worse comes worse the world will go out by way of dancing to death or rather being killed by music so that that vehicle can uplift the soul and carry it to the Great Beyond rather than getting killed by a thug. The idea of pleading for one more dance, is a strategy which would allow us to think of a more lasting solution while we're at it - (dancing if we get allowed to by the thug). I could go on and on and on...MORE LESS
Kate: The animals that share the planet with us are diverse and beautiful, but unfortunately countless species are dying out at a terrifying rate. We think it's important to remind humanity of the beauty they bring to our world, and to treat them with the respect they deserve as equally valuable residents of our planet. Sasha composed this beautiful track with the story of the song in mind, and the music expresses the pure exuberance of the life that surrounds us. Kate told the story with her words, and Joseph gave it a voice with his enthusiastic vocals. Sasha: This song become something very unexpected during the process of it's creation, as every musician brings something from his own , and the result is far more interesting and colorful from what it has started from. The "groove" of Jonathan and Lukas + multiple guitar ideas of Marcien and absolutely astonishing voice arrangement of Joseph (Mos-B) changed the whole perspective and a new version is a unique representation of musician of 4 continents.MORE LESS
Another picture of the dramatic situation of our planet and our humanity that is missing somewhere… “…Starving children who die … Helpless cries call us… …How many violence oppress us … The indifferences that weigh on the bitter conscience of too many atrocities… …And all the weapons they sell without any minimum scruple… …Unnecessary waste reflects all the serious mistakes of an old civilization… …Contradictions chase us and the privileges that separate us… And we who stand by and watch… Who among us can still accept… What is the answer to give… So, what does it means…”MORE LESS
Tell me captain it’s a grooving rhythm and blues that give “a lighthearted take on what's going on in the world” (Elly). We won’t accept, we won’t give up, we will “…keep on running against the wave, keep on singing in the rain, keep on loving life and human beings…” (Diego)MORE LESS
