Onur Özçelik
I was born in 1986, embarked on a musical journey at the early age of five when I received a musical instrument for my birthday by my uncle. With every instrument I was introduced to, my passion for music grew so I pursued my passion and was accepted to the Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music Conservatory.
During the years in college I focussed on the fretless guitar and studied with Erkan Oğur (who is inventor and the pioneer of the fretless guitar)
After the college I worked with Kalan Music Studios (one of the most known music production companies in Turkey)
for 10 years as composer, arranger, guitarist and sound engineer. I have worked on many TV series, movie soundtracks and accompanied many talented artists with my guitar.
I released my solo album “Aşktanbul” in 2017. The album contains eight songs that are composed by me and one classical piece by Aşık Veysel
In these days I’m getting ready to move London. I’m planning to stay there and make music as always
