Masilva is a sonic and spacey "Electroubadour" who performs songs inspired by Latin American tradition and global sounds. His albums Lucecita del Tiempo (2024), Entre Bacanería y Barbarie (2021), Juglaría Gallinaza (2016), Cóndor (2012) and Criollo Businessman (2009) evoke his influences of Champeta, Cumbia, Afro-Beat and Andean, together with Electro, Funk, Dub and Hip Hop. He has performed at festivals such as Artisti in Piazza (Italy), Glastonbury (UK), COMA (Brasil), Iberoamericano de Teatro (Colombia), as well as at other stages and venues around England, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Peru, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Colombia. His song “Joya” is part of the soundtrack for Apple TV series ECHO3, and his song "Del Orteguaza al Caquetá" is featured on Putumayo compilation "Café du Monde".
