InDuna

About me

Wellington, New Zealand

Self-taught artist and producer InDuna takes flavours straight from his homeland and incorporates them into his Afro-Dance-Pop infused soul sound. His roots also allow him to blend his vocals and sounds from Africa to bring a unique vibe and narrative to his music and capture the essence of him as an artist.

Born in South Africa, InDuna's early life was marked by challenges, growing up in Johannesburg and Limpopo's slums before finding a new life in New Zealand. His musical journey began with a profound connection to Brenda Fassie's "Nomakanjani," sparking a love for music. InDuna found solace in music production, using it as a therapeutic outlet to navigate his emotions and life experiences.

InDuna wrote a song for a movie called "Ink and Gold." His song 'Dreams' won an award at a big online festival called IOWF. His tracks, "Dreams" reached number 6 on the Hot 20 NZ Singles Charts. "All My Love" was featured on popular playlists, such as "Viral Hits" and "Hit Italiane" on Spotify.
