Reem Talhami
A Palestinian artist , majorly involved in the Palestinian cultural artistic scene. She works in the field of performing arts since 1987 both as a singer and actress . The essence of Reem`s work as a singer who lives in Palestine,is fully connected to the case of her people and their status as people under occupation. In her works she insists on keeping it up to the level where she speaks loud about injustice,hopes,sorrows and seekings for freedom.
Reem took part in the adaptation of Mahmoud Darwish`s “MURAL” for theater, “Blood wedding” By LORKA, “Half Sack Of Bullets” By K.Albasha, “Khail Tayha” By A.W.Alodeh,”Following the footsteps of Hamlet” By W. Shakespear, “All my sons” By A. Miller and several other roles in television and cinema.she sings and plays the role of the mother of the king in opera “Kalila Wa Dimna” by Moneim Adwan.Reem has several music works, songs and Albums, performed through 25 years of stage career in Palestine and the world.
