Together with her talented music band Susan Augustt is able to rekindle the much-lacking live music scene in our parts.
As so well demonstrated in her ''Effects EP'' released in May 2019; Susan Augustt served listeners three different styles of Neo Afro-Soul, Afro Jazz and AfroBeats in a Trio Release (3 songs) .She is working on her new project which is set to be released before the end of the year. Susan Augustt is indeed made in Ghana but set for the World stage.
Life can be hard. When we learn how to walk we fall so many times, but we always get up to continue our journey. When we become adults, we sometimes forget how to get up again. This song reminds us to never stop no matter how hard our destiny is striking us. And if we are able to do that, then we can socially change and we don't get stuck or even fall back as a society.
I am born and raised in Switzerland, but lving in Accra, Ghana since five years. It was the drums who brought me to Ghana the first time in 2001. The idea evolved with time: Let me try my best to connect these two worlds through music. Music doesn't know borders. Beyond Music is giving me the chance to do what I have to do. My friend and musician Elias Kohli from Switzerland has never been in Westafrica before. Ghanaian Singer Susan Augustt has never been in Europe. Creating a song with them is like building a bridge between continents.
