Karen Duelund Guastavino
Multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer/sounddesigner and artist from Denmark. I've worked in many different music genres and art fields. I love to create and cooperate with other artists to make something bigger and to combine other art forms in a full performance with theater, dance, music, art, lights etc.
My musical education is as a classical saxophonist from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen and the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
I've performed and released albums in Europe and US among others with the Danish/Polish project Czesław Śpiewa and with my own multilingual project Mademoiselle Karen singing in Polish, French, English and Danish. The past years I've worked in several dance and theater productions as the composer, sounddesigner, musician and vocalist.
I love to work and perform with musicians and artists from all corners of the world and to communicate through music beyond words. I can't wait to create with all of you in Beyond Music!

"Compassion" is a song that reminds us of some of the negative consequences of conflicts especially when they allowed reach the level of war and strife.In a subtle way, the song also attempts to propose some peace enhancing habits which if applied could contribute significantly in curbing or reducing the incidence of conflicts among us humans.In this way we could contribute to make a much better world for everyone of us.
