P. James is a Congolese artist. He began learning music as a child and made his stage debut in 2002 with a religious choir.
In 2010, he took part in the Vodacom superstar competition, but his joy would be fleeting because he would be eliminated very early.
From 2014 to 2016, he worked with rapper Lexxus Legal, which he accompanies on stage at many festivals such as Peace One Day in Goma (DRC), Visa for Music (Morocco), Salem Addis Festival (Ethiopia), Francopholie International Festival in Kinshasa (DRC), Mama Event & Africolor in Paris (France).
He participates in 2016 in The Voice Afrique. He will leave the adventure in the quarterfinals after a remarkable passage.
Charlotte Dipanda signs it on her label Pharempire. With it, he works on his 1st album Yoka and launches the video "Mambo" in 2018.
In 2019, he self-produced and launched the "Posés" video. He then takes part in the Vodacom Best of the Best competition, in which he ranks 2nd and marks the spirits of fans and juror.
