''Flying Bantu'' is a musical act from right underneath the magical spray of the Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Their unique sound embodies various flavors and boldly expresses an Afro: Rock/Reggae/Funk/Jazz mix, best be described as ''Afro-Fusion''. In their short touring career, they have performed at various prominent African festivals and events. In 2017 they opened the stage for the late Zimbabwean legend Oliver Mtukudzi at his sold out 65th birthday concert at the Artscape Theatre in Cape Town. That same year at Victoria Falls Carnival, they shared the stage with MiCasa and ''Black Coffee''. After back-to-back appearances at South Africa's biggest festivals, Rocking The Daisies (2017 & 18) and Splashy Fen (2019, 2020) the band has since taken main stage slots of Harare International Festival of The Arts (HIFA) and most recently Cape Town's biggest festival Up The Creek in February 2020. In May 2019 the band made their first transcontinental showcase at Canadian Music Week in Toronto.
