About me

kampala, Uganda

My vocals cover the musical baselines of jazz and soul ballads with a distinctive identity and air that breaks the codes of traditional African soul singers.
A graduate of fine arts, the author, composer, and performer, I made my stage debut at Bayimba Festival in 2013 before sharing stage with notable artists such as Skyler Jett, Goefrey
Oryema, oumou sangare Kareyce Fotso, Maurice Kirya, Joel Sebunjo, amongst others. In 2017, I was awarded Best African Artist for the acclaimed Visa Pour la Creation and
spent a three-months in paris, I collaborated with artists like L’Artiste and Davd Felgerros and performed at La Cite des Arts International and MaMa Festival.

I was double nominated in the 2018 All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA for “Best Female Artiste in African Inspirational Music” and “Best Female Artiste in Eastern Africa” for her song “Kaddugala.” The anthem for dark skinned girls to be comfortable in their skin. I believe is a vehicle for social change and we are the tools.
