The band started their musical journey together in 2012 and have ever since participated in festivals throughout Morocco and shared their passion and love for making and performing music together. They debuted internationally in festival Transform in Norway during 2018, and later France in 2019.

They started to write their songs, fueled by a mutual interest for Desert Blues. They worked hard on their debut album "Azizdeg" and knew the time was right to bring back the music and culture an international audience.

Ten thousand things (Release the doves)

With musicians from three cultures coming together, this song is both a sorrowful lament at the state of the earth, and an urgent call to peace and transcendence. ‘10,000 things’ refers to the Taoist idea that the world is full of shadowy distractions that separate us from our true spiritual nature. The song expresses the inherent conflict between the reality of the chaotic physical world and the profound desire for harmony and unity. This desire is expressed through the urgent injunction to ‘Release the Doves’ of peace.

Peace Evolution

Peace is not a static phenomenon and often backtrack rather than evolves. Even in silence there are many ways to promote it, and a smile is often what is needed to break down any barriers of sadness that may fuel conflict. Smiling is an extraordinary way to open all the doors that insist on closing. This collaboration is a call to break cycles of sadness and isolation that undermine the evolution of our personal and collective Peace, and also encourages that no culture is isolated in shyness by the predominance of others that tend to globalize.
