Mzwaa
Mzwaa's music is driven by the burning desire to bring hope and healing through captivating lyrics. His love for music was inspired by his parents who are avid lovers and collectors of music. His father exposed him to jazz music while his mother the Rhythm and Blues from the Motown era.
The Manzini-based artist first bust onto the scene by winning the 2018 MTN Bushfire Firefly competition and went to perform at the 2018 MTN Bushfire Festival. Mzwaa made a game-changing impression with the debut release of his eclectic and fresh RnB/Soul infused anthem, I Got It, released in October that year.
In 2019, Mzwaa finally released his highly anticipated debut EP titled 'Right On Time.' A cocktail of RnB, Soul and Hip-Hop woven by stories of tribulation, triumph, love and aspirations told through the words of optimistic Swazi youth. The EP bagged Mzwaa two nominations at the 2019 MTN SWAMA Awards of which he went on to win Best Collaboration for 'Lutsandvo' featuring Velemseni.
