This ancient sacred prayer song is a song to defend our Sacred Mother Earth. It is a prayer song that was given to our Lakota Nation to remember her. We pray and Sundance to this sacred song, sending our voice for healing during our Sundance ceremonies. We sing this song by sending our voice to the Great Spirit. The sun, and moon are connected with her because they are part of the Sundance ceremony. We thank the Great Spirit, Tunkasila (Creator God) and White Buffalo Calf Women that our people pray for the world (Unci Maka) Mother Earth.
