I'm a fulltime musician, dividing my time between playing all kinds of things with strings, writing & singing songs and producing music for various artists and bands.
I've doing this for about 40 years now. Most of the work I do is situated in The Netherlands where I have my own studio, but I also regularly perform in countries like the UK, Germany, Italy and the USA as a sideman with artists from all around. Thus I've worked with ao Iain Matthews, Jeff Finlin, Amy Speace, Elly Kellner, Cara Luft, Shannon Lyon, Oh Susanna, Kerri Powers, Terri Binion.
With many of these people I have also recorded, producing and or playing single tracks or complete albums.
Most of the music I'm involved in can be described as Americana, a mixture of country, blues, soul and rock&roll with a twist of jazz.
In my country I have released 15 albums with original material in the last 20 years, some in English but most in Dutch.
I have found the best possible home in playing, living, loving music.

Kapha is one of the three Ayurvedic constitutional types - stocky, good-natured and heavy in a healthy state. When Kapha is imbalanced, melancholy, depression and listlessness develop. The song is meant to reflect the two possible states of a human sinus curve - the positive and creative phase versus the negative and difficult time that everyone goes through several times in their life.
