Crespo spends her time performing, leading ensembles of varying genres and sizes, and collaborating with artists nationally and internationally.
As a performer, she is praised for her precision, agility, and expressiveness, and as a composer, she enjoys music that has a clear purpose; whether that purpose is to incite a reaction, pursue introspective exploration, reflect on sociopolitical issues, or anything in between.
Crespo is currently involved in a number of diverse artistic projects such as For Now (creative modern jazz quintet), Both of Us (jazz-influenced duo), Haz Caso (sound collage duo), Naming the Self (creative writing collaboration), Chatterbox (experimental vocal trio), Tornasol (folk/chamber ensemble) and others.
