Gitta de Ridder
Hello! My name is Gitta. I'm a singer, songwriter and guitarist from the Netherlands. I love writing songs, singing songs, recording songs (oh baby yes, bring on those harmonies!) and most of all collaborating with people from different musical backgrounds. Because of this love, I ended up recording my 3rd record as part of an 8 month Europe trip during which I worked with many wonderful musicians making the album so much richer than I could have dreamed up. I'm excited to keep walking that path.
A little extra background: I grew up in the Netherlands where I started my music degree at the RockAcademy, then an exchange programme led to me spending 10 years of my life living in London where I did much of my music-studies at Westminster University and the Songwriting Academy. I moved back to the Netherlands in 2018 but still spend much of my time travelling and touring.
