Hello, my name is Kilian, thank you for visiting my profile! I'm currently living in Munich and studied Jazz Vocals at the University of Music and Performing arts in Munich as well as at the JVLMA in Riga. These days I study Cultural- and Musicmanagement at the UMPA in Munich. So far my musical journey did lead me through mainly Jazz, Classical, World and experimental Music. Composing and Improvising is very interesting to me as well as being a team player in a written out part ensemble. I'm very open for exiting Ideas & Visions from all over the world and love to be around and outdoors. If you'd like to get to know me more, I'll be happy to get in contact with you!

Water
Water has always been a part of humanity and it’s evolution. It enables life. But also it entails devastating effects as the latest events show: The rising sea level, hurricanes in the US and floods in Europe bring calamity over the whole world and even kill people. For the Beyond Music Project Vol.3 we wanted to create music expressing the conflicts around water and therefore set the poem „Water“ by Ralph Waldo Emerson to music.

Circle Of Light
"Circle Of Light" was composed at the beginning of the Covid-19 shutdowns and became a cooperation between four friends who are living quite apart. Alto Saxophone player Toms Rudzinskis who is living in Berlin, Federico Nelson Fioravanti, who is living in Aalborg, Edgars Cīrulis currently living in Aalborg & Riga and Kilian Sladek living in Munich. They used the digital possibilities to create art in times of isolation. The song "Circle Of Light" stands for the spiritual & musical connection the internet offers in times of segregation.
