NAZIR ABDULHAI: Syrian Diverse Ud player from Homs city (1993), started his journey with the Ud in the age of 18, he joined the academic music study in 2013 “bachelor of Arabic music at the conservatory of Homs city”, he’s always inspired by the modern Ud players such as (Dhafer Yousef,Ahmed alkhatib),those who mix the tradition with the modern music.
After 3 years He took his decision to travel and follow up his dreams about playing a crossover music.
In 2015 Nazeer arrived in the Netherlands at the age of 21 and started making his dreams about seeing the Ud in a new image.but he couldn’t wait to apply for a new study at “Codarts” the conservatory of Rotterdam, for Maqam Music.
But Nazeer has a lot of enthusiasm to mix the Ud with many other types of Music. That's why he had the idea to create his own band “Trico”. To write music that would fuse the sound of the Ud with different styles of music
