Mike Flynn
I'm an award-winning journalist, magazine editor, bass guitarist and producer based in south London. I currently edit Jazzwise, the UK’s multi-award winning monthly jazz magazine, while my previous experience in the music industry includes being on the judging panel the Mercury Music Prize for eight years; jazz editor at Time Out London for five years; and working freelance for a decade for record labels such as Universal, festival producers Serious and as a co-producer/writer for documentaries on BBC Radio 2. I've played bass guitar for over 25 years with own bands and solo projects as well as writing and producing my own music.
