Joost Hendrickx
I am an independent drummer, composer and educator based in London, UK.
I play drums for Kefaya, Abstract Orchestra, The Sorcerers, Shatner's Bassoon, XOA, Tipping Point and the in-house recording band at ATA Records. I am also a regular musical collaborator with dance organisation International Arts Collective. I am currently a Senior Lecturer in Popular Music (drums) at Leeds Conservatoire.
I have always made collaboration the focal point of my work and I am constantly looking to build new connections with like minded artists/creatives. Much of my work stems from improvisation and spontaneous creativity, which is what excites me the most about music.
