Syrian Oudist and composer, Mohannad Nasser, has emerged as an innovative and creative musician with years of experience in performing on the Middle East musical scenes and expertise in teaching oriental music.
His Compositions has been described by audiences as “delicate, serene and magical”.
His profound desire to share his conception of music led him to elaborate his educational project, “Contemporary today, Heritage tomorrow”, which achieved his Master’s degree at the prestigious Berklee College of Music.
During his career, Mohannad performed with international artists, started with the musical piece “Mediterranean Sundance” with the renowned guitar player, Al Di Meola, until recording his 2021 upcoming album "Al Hamra" featuring the legendary Flutist Jorge Pardo.
His musical vision is based on the Arabic traditional music with a strong flavor of the Oriental roots. And combining it with sophisticated harmony and contemporary approaches that goes beyond genres.
