About me

Lagos, Nigeria

I am a singer-songwriter, recording/performing artist and improv vocal composer whose work is inspired by the tapestry of the human experience. Through my practice, my work explores the intersection of music/sound and visual disciplines -- photography, film and design.

I have three solo projects released so far: 'Brown', the acclaimed '...And The Bass Is Queen.' album and the cinematic album 'Kaleidoscope'. I've worked on collaborations with Sonti Mndebele, Grammy award-nominated and winning composers, Morgan Guerin, Vijay Iyer, and worked as a collaborator for sound with Ghanaian photographer Kwasi Darko and Ivorian photographer Keren Lasme on their photography projects.

I am a Prix Decouvertes 2013 Awardee, an Art OMI Music 2017 Fellow, a BANFF Music 2018 Alum., a Red Bull Music Academy 2018 Alum., a ColabNowNow 2019 Art Alum., a OneBeat Music Fellow and a Koshka Sound Fellow.
