Joel Visentin
Hi there, I'm a Toronto based keyboardist and music producer. I wear a lot of hats in my music career including leading a couple of my own projects and playing the sideman role with many different artists across a wide range of styles. The bedrock of my musical approach is mainly in jazz, soul, rock and R&B but it has branched from there to all kinds of strange and wonderful places. My main solo project JV's Boogaloo Squad is an instrumental organ trio, a throwback to 70's funk and soul instrumental music. I also release new music as 1/2 of the duo "Jester Champwick" a synth/electronic inspired approach to groove based modern jazz music. I've also found myself collaborating with a wide variety of mainly Canadian artists in some very diverse spaces, everything from Indie Rock, to Pop to Hip hop, Prog Rock, R&B, African Music, Latin Music and more. I love it all and great music is great music. Can't wait to make some here on this platform!
