Jerome Baur
Born in France, I have been living in front of Lake Geneva in Switzerland since 2000. I am a composer, arranger and sound designer for cinema, theater, choreography, television and modern arts since 1989. I was trained in jazz piano and at the Ecole du Spectacle in Paris. In the 90's, I played on stages, in studio, in festivals with many bands and during 10 years, thanks to all these artists with whom I collaborated, I had the chance to explore the world music. I have received awards for my film music and for my theater music, for which I am composing the 53rd soundtrack this year. I continue this exploration of world music through my remote productions, my travels between continents and artistic fields. Creating links is fundamental to writing music. It is also a social trait that I like. All these human and musical links are one of the primary colors I use to write music.
