ZAY, YUMA
Sabrine Jenhani was born and raised in Tunisia, Carthage. She started singing at the age of 15 in different rock, Blues and acoustic bands as an amateur.
She participated at several national contest such as Festival Accord de la guitare in 2008. She has been performing with jazz clubs in Tunisia for 12 years in parralele, she had her bachelor degree in fine art.
In 2011, she worked as a journalist, but kept on being active on the alternative scene as she started writing and composing and have been collaboration with several tunisian artists such as 814 BC, Benjemy, Nour Harkati, Ary Sarhan, Faraj Suleima, Tania Saleh…
A 1st Album came out in 2016 named « Chura », a collaboration with singer and songwriter Ramy Zoghlami, as they created together a duo named YUMA.
Second album « Ghbar Njoum » was released in 2018 with french Label INNACOR.
In 2019 she created a solo project named ZÃY. She released a 1st EP « Men Hné » in May 2019 And several singles in 2020.
