Timo Ickenroth
I studied jazz drums in the Netherlands and successfully graduated with a Bachelor Of Music degree. Private lessons with renowned instructors and the attendance of numerous workshops with world-famous drummers complemented my studies meaningfully and gave me fresh impulses. I have been and still am involved in a variety of band projects from different styles such as jazz, funk, soul, rock/pop, blues, latin, country and drum'n bass and have shared a stage with artists such as blues guitarist Gregor Hilden, American blues singer Big Daddy Wilson, German jazz singer Silvia Droste, Dutch trombonist and university lecturer Bart van de Lier and his fellow countryman trumpeter Ack van Rooyen. I have also played with Michael Holm, Bernhard Brink, Chris Andrews and Eurovision Song Contest star Johnny Logan.
