I'm playing oriental wind instruments (Duduk, Mey, Bilûr (Kaval ), Ney, Zurna,...) and the traditional Kurdish Tanboor.
I am located in Germany now. Istarted playing when I was in Syria and specialized in the Kurdish folk music and have two published research papers(An introduction to Kurdish Music Instruments (Welat Journal 2012, Kurdish Bilûr(Flute) Sormey magazine 2015).
I am now active in many bands and projects inside and outside Germany; such as:

-Asambura Ensemble.
-Al-Qafila (Leo Africanos Project 2019, Rumi Project 2021).
-Alte Musik Neues Gedacht (Old Music New Thoughts) (Dortmund).

Lo Sivano is a remix of a traditional Kurdish folk song. The song was played by musicians from Rojava (Syrian Kurdistan), Bakur (Turkish Kurdistan), and Golan Heights (Israeli-occupied Syria). Sivan is a common male name in Kurdish that means shepherd, but also has the more subtle meaning of protector of the community. The song is an ode to the young generation of Kurds who have been forced to become fighters and protectors in the ongoing conflict that has become their normal day-to-day life.
