I am a drummer, producer, and engineer. I do session work for artists of all genres. As a drummer, I have performed with Lee Ritenour and the MarcO Poingt Trio. My production portfolio includes projects including John Legend and Sheila E. I also have a psychedelic solo project called Cloudgazer.
This is a song that conveys hope and fellowship in times of war and human conflict. We are all affected by the great scale of violence and injustice that exists in our world today and it is necessary to unite, to build on love and peace all the time, going forward. Defending our rights, or changing what we need to improve requires accepting that the road is challenging. We are all involved because we are humans and live in the same society. With courage and unity we can achieve what we want.
Try Again is inspired by this repetitive process of repetition, failure, until successful completion. It's a piece I wrote in an atmosphere of conflict between success and failure. I collaborated with drummer Sam Ruff and bassist Baptiste Watiez on this track
This piece is inspired by an Argentinian milonga rhythm, originally in 4 beats that I transformed and mixed into a 7 beats rhythm. I collaborated with Sam Ruff (drums) and Baptiste Watiez (bass). This piece is a mix of various influences: Argentinian, Cuban, jazz and classical music. The theme of conflict is developed here in the general atmosphere of the piece, very dense, intense and passionate.
I originally wrote this piece for solo piano and arranged it for the Beyond Music Project. The idea of the song and of this production is to mix the acoustic with the electric by opposing these two universes and playing with their opposition but especially their complementarity. Conflict is for me a succession of different stages: the calm where some tensions begin to be created, which little by little will take more and more magnitude and end up breaking out. This is what I wanted to show through our interaction in the piece.
