About me

Overland Park, United States

I am an Ethiopian multi-disciplined artist, born in Jerusalem. My family and I relocated to Brooklyn, New York when I was 9 years old and experienced my formative years there. Following the move to Brooklyn, I spent three years in the Midwest, where I created a variety of mixed media work, while gaining my taste in mediums and practice—a meditative process. In 2017, I invested in having my first solo exhibition, ‘CLEAN VERSION,’ speaking to the power of womanhood, sexuality, and the double standard of the female body. Since then, my pieces showed at group shows in 2018 and 2019 have been byproducts of this measure. I released my first Single and Music Video, Everything I Should’ve Said in 2020. Since then I’ve been focusing on music production, leading me to my most recent release, Blue Faces.
