I play 7 string classical guitar, portuguese guitar (traditional instrument), acoustic and electric guitar.
Besides my own solo work, I've spent most of my time the last few years playing and touring with different Portuguese artists, including Ana Moura, with whom I currently play.
Love sharing music with different cultures and mixing world music genres, and I think my music reflects that - in it, you can listen to influences of Fado, Flamenco, Brazilian, Tango and Classical Music.
The Portuguese Guitar, for those who don't know, is a 12 string pear shaped guitar used mostly in Fado, traditional portuguese music, although it's obviously suited in most genres. It has a really unique timber and texture!
