Amine Dhouibi
Amine Dhouibi is an independent Tunisian musician and composer working at the intersection of contemporary jazz and experimental music. Born and based in Sousse, Tunisia, he first turned to the guitar during a period of personal searching — channeling perceptions and visions that felt just beyond reach into sound.
Amine's music is defined by a distinctive simultaneous dual-line guitar technique, allowing him to weave two independent musical voices at once. His work continually pushes at the edges of contemporary music, drawing on a wide range of influences to carve out a language entirely his own.
His debut album, The Resurrection (2021), earned a nomination for Best Newcomer in Jazz at the Mzansi Jazz Awards. His follow-up, Eternity Vol. 1 (2023), was nominated for Best Contemporary Jazz Album. In April 2026, he released Eternity Vol. 2 on cassette via the Kassel-based label Phare à Lucioles .
