Katy Hallauer
I am a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Cape Town, South Africa. I am currently studying opera at university, but I have recorded and released my own music in a more popular style as well. I do gigs around Cape Town at the moment and collaborate with local musicians. I started up my YouTube channel when I was 15 and in my spare time, I livestream on Twitch where I have a wonderful community of people from all over the world. I've always found music as an outlet for my emotions, so I put this into my songs and I was recently placed in the top 10 for a local songwriting competition. In 2021, I released my debut album ‘Exactly What I Was Scared Of’ which consists of 8 original songs and I plan to release more original music soon.
