Udi Shlomo
Drummer, composer and arranger, Udi Shlomo was born in Kibbutz Nahshon (Israel), with roots from Iraq, Poland, Old Czechoslovakia, and since 2010 has been living in Trondheim (Norway).
Shlomo's music combines original compositions inspired by memories, images and stories from his upbringing in Israel, along with new arrangements of traditional Hebrew folk music, and colored by experiences from life in Norway. This diverse background is expressed in Shlomo's music, which creates what is today called "world jazz".
