Professional and session drummer since 13 yrs old. Studied drums at the K. Clark / D. Agostini School in Paris, while playing at two rock operas. Spent 11 years in NYC, playing & studying jazz (L. Bellson, J. Cobb, H. Arnold, M. Clark) & afro-caribbean / brazilian (F. Mallabe, H. Hernadez, B. Sanabria & A. Valdez in Cuba), producing / collaborating with various artists (C. Jackson, R. Drayton, D. Brown, S. Thornton, N. Simopoulos, Uptown Horns), as member of the brazilian ensemble Εmpire Loisaida (K. Batista, N. Vasconcelos, Dom Um Romao) & drummer of the Bary Harris University of the Streets sessions (T. Turrentine, C-Sharp). Toured & recorded for years with M. Theodorakis, M. Farandouri, H. Alexiou, Z. Livaneli, a.o. Currently recording personal projects (saxophone, oud, keyboards duets) at Megaron Athens Concert Hall, exploring the philosophy of time (hermeneutic phenomenology) in music. Visiting lecturer at the National University School of Philosophy, Music Studies Dpt.
