Josh Poole
Josh is a sought after saxophonist, arranger and composer based in Manchester, England. He regularly performs in arenas around the UK and Europe with such artists as Paul Heaton, with whom he has recorded several no.1 albums. As a Director of The Untold Orchestra, Josh has been working closely alongside Grammy Award-winning pianist, Bill Laurance. Following the release of their album at London Jazz Festival, they have recently recorded a new album set for release in September this year. As well as creating a production team giving the highest quality musical/video content, the orchestra prides itself on its community work, following its ethos, that all art forms should be available to all members of society.
Josh released his debut sextet song, Under Duress in 2021, as well as his first EP under the alias GRAY-V, entitled Vol.1.
Josh received an MA 2:1 in music from Oxford University, and Mmus distinction from the Royal Northern College of Music.
