Janice Iche
Janice Iche is a queer Kenyan-Tanzanian multidisciplinary artist, DJ, singer-songwriter and music producer from Mombasa, Kenya who uses their art as a personal transformational healing process, inviting themself and others to transcend the necessary and create more joy and authenticity in the daily life. Through music, Iche gets to explore themself and the people around her, learning and understanding more the true essence of life and using these lessons to expand and give back to community.
Iche creates music that is inspired by African rhythms and melodies as well as contemporary sounds from all around the world. She blends these styles with electronic production to bring forth soulful captivating and genre-bending sounds that display her raw and unique musical caliber.
Their self-produced debut album "The Journey Continues..." is out now on Bandcamp.
