Pouriya was born in a family with a rich background in music and literature. His music trainings began when he was eight years old. He learned Daf from his older brother who was a highly accomplished player and indeed one of the bests in Iran. He also learned Tanbor from his eldest brother who had a significant influence on his musical career. Pouriya Jaberi took the first place in Fajr international music festival in 2002 and 2005 when he was only 15 years old. He also won the first prize in percussion festival of west of Iran in 2008. In the coming years Pouriya Jaberi performed in different music festivals in Asia (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkey...), Europe (Russia, Italy, Spain, Norway...) and Australia( Sydny, Melbourne) .
He lives in The Netherlands and he performs with different music bands.
