Nasrine Rahmani is an Australian-born percussionist now residing in Madrid. Upon completing a Bachelor of Music Improvisation at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, she travelled numerous times to Cuba to further her studies on the percussion. After coming in contact with local Flamenco musicians in Melbourne, she developed an interest in the Cajon and eventually decided to move to Spain. She has now been living and working for 14 years in the Spanish capital, performing with many of the top Flamenco artists in the industry including Montse Cortes, Jorge Pardo as well as touring and recording with Diego Guerrero as his main percussionist. She is also one of the main endorsers for leading Flamenco Cajon makers "Camarada Percussion" and is currently recognized in Spain as the leading female reference for flamenco percussionists and artists.
