I'm a Swiss singer with a journey spanning two decades on stage. My passion for songwriting and singing began in my childhood, igniting a lifelong love affair with music and lyrics.
In 2015, I released my debut album "Soul," which was a (english) testament to my dedication to soul music. Then, in 2021, a significant chapter unfolded as I initiated a cross-cultural project. This time, I created lyrics in my native language, Swiss German. Alongside 16 Swiss musicians and an author, we co-crafted an album that traverses the journey of life — from the very first breath to the last.
Looking ahead, my artistic focus is set on amplifying the healing power of music. I firmly believe that music's therapeutic essence is most powerful when the writing and singing emanate from a place of genuine emotion — a heartfelt expression from deep within.
“Ekhaya”. In Zulu, that means “Home”. We imagine a world where people can feel at home, a world that embraces diversity, and create a better world for generations to come. Crafted word by word by Neville Sigauke (Mbira Dze Hip Hop) from Zimbabwe, Sarah Huber, and Marcel Schwegler from Switzerland.
Our collaborative effort delves into the very roots of societal transformation, exploring the question: Where does the change within society truly originate? What does it take for an individual to find the strength to seek help? Our song "We Can Change" urges openness and unity. It advocates for embracing vulnerability, standing together, and seeking help when needed. Musically, we blend voices and patterns to symbolize the strength in unity. It's a call to action, inspiring to share vulnerabilities, encouraging a more compassionate world.
