Kareem Ali
A breakout producer from the pandemic era, New York native Kareem made a name for himself with consistent releases of original material over the past few years. He pushes Afrofuturism through his music. A Jazz head first and foremost, he has been playing trumpet and performing on stage for 20+ years. He is inspired by the cosmos and the likes of Sun Ra, Miles Davis,Frankie Knuckles, and Larry Heard. Now located in Tucson, Arizona, Kareem releases independently via his CosmoFlux label, with a wide range of supporters ranging from Four Tet, Caribou, Flume, The Avalanches, Bradley Zero, Sherelle, Pete Tong, Kevin Saunderson, Gus Dapperton, Local Natives, DJ Boring, Martin Garrix, and Bicep. In 2022 Kareem laid the groundwork for his career and proved himself an emerging force in the industry. He played Primavera Sound, MELT, Field Day London, Lost Village Festival, and toured with Flume and The Avalanches.
