Hi, I'm Juan Candau. Guitarist and sound and recording technician. I was born in the city of La Plata, Buenos Aires Argentina. I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old. Mostly blues and rock. I had several teachers, and then I went to the university, where I studied to become a musician and technician. I played in many bands in my city, rock, blues, reggae, jazz and also folklore. But what defines me is blues-rock, and songs.
Nowadays I produce music at home.
I like to participate in projects of any genre, either from the production, mixing or playing my guitar.
Thanks for visiting my profile, don't hesitate to contact me if you think I can join your project in any way.
Social and psychological alienation, compounded by feelings of loneliness and isolation, emerge as profound consequences of war-induced separation and societal upheaval. Families torn apart, groups fragmented, and the dissonance between past bonds and present individualism all fuel the transformative currents reshaping societies amidst conflict and displacement. We may not feel well, but through collaborative music, we might be able to share our stories, ease our burden, alleviate the feeling of estrangement, and thrive as cohesive communities.
Single Mother portrays the struggle of solo parenthood amid societal critique. Its atmospheric bluesy vibe reflects the raw emotions of single motherhood, emphasizing solitude and strength, self-doubt and resilience. Highlighting the loving bond between mother and child, the song advocates for compassion and support over judgment.

ENRAMADAS is a song composed by Angeles Mendoza with the production of the Argentine Juan Candau. It invites us to reflect on the sufferings of our brothers and sisters around the world, the atrocities and attacks left by war, putting the focus on the lives of children. It calls us to carry a message of social change regardless of color or religion. The song mixes different genres such as Argentine milonga, candombe and urban music.
What can my heart do? is a song that invites us to ask ourselves, to look around us, to look at the natural disasters, the inequalities, the oppression, the war, the children. It is a call to rethink our message, to reflect. As musicians, to sing that message. It was composed by the Argentine Angeles Mendoza, as a copla of her folklore, in Spanish language. Australian singer Floyd Thursby is called upon to take the message to the world.
