Tobias Preisig
I am a Swiss violin player and film composer based in Zürich. My music explores the intersections of experimental, ambient, classical and electronic music.
I performs solo concerts and I tour primarily with my electronica duo Egopusher in Europe and Asia at festivals such as Montreux Jazz, Tauron Katowice, Pohoda Festival, London Jazz, Strawberry Shanghai, Jarasum Jazz South Korea and Tokyo Jazz Japan. I also play with Levitation, a duo with Stefan Rusconi on church organ that explores the fullness of drone and spherical noise.
I have collaborated with Colin Stetson Sorrow, The Cinematic Orchestra, Youn Sun Nah and Jan Bang and I have recently focused on composing music for film.
