I have a rich and colorful heritage of the Maccatees/Xhosa/Khoi San/Griekwa bloodline.
Raised under the harsh realities of the oppressive system of apartheid.
Music and running in nature were my passions to escape the harshness of that time.
Music was also common language in the family.

A Swedish Choral maestro named Anders Nyberg and myself became good friends when he visited South Africa.
He organised a scholarship forme to study music theory….etc.

I am currently busy with my 4th album with producer extraordinaire Glen Scott.
This new project is a very personal musical journey for me, as i revisits sounds, nuances, languages and landscapes that informed my upbringing in the small town of Humansdorp, in a region now known as the
Sarah Baartman District.
