Rêzan is a Kurdish Guitarist from near Brighton in the UK. He plays for Vincent Bugozi with a team of 7 musicians, seeking to bring joy to everyone who listens to their music through the African rhythm.
Rêzan first picked up the guitar as a teenager around the age of 14. He started out as a metal fan but went on to diversify his listening and playing to pretty much anything and everything.
You can always expect Rêzan to feel a strong desire to create emotional, fitting guitar lines to the music he writes to and bring energetic performances on stage.
Rêzan has been involved in a few musical projects since 2017 at the start of going to university in London, 2 of which were bands (Vincent Bugozi & Ruby Hive). The other was an events company (Stagewave) which had it’s own house band that would rearrange artists’ music to have a ‘Superbowl’ feel to their music and perform it live at a Stagewave event with the Artist, which Rêzan was a part of.
In times of conflict and turmoil, it's crucial for individuals and nations to come together, transcend differences, and work towards common goals of peace, justice, and prosperity. Social change often begins with individuals who are willing to stand up for what is right just as Mandela did, you can even feel his determination through his eyes. In this multinational collaboration between U.K, Kurdistan, Tanzania and Spain we aim to ignite a spark of change, empowering ordinary individuals to champion causes within their own communities.
