Steffi Dietz

About me

Berlin, Germany

Dear one,

I am Steffi Dietz, an artist venturing through the scope of life. I am born in Canada and currently living in Germany. I speak French, English, and German.

I completed my bachelor’s degree at the University of Montreal in Voice Performance. There I portrayed Suor Dolcina in Suor Angelica's production.
After living in Austria (2015), I joined the Kapellsbergs Opera Studio in Sweden.

In the course of the years I redefined myself as a performance Artist, where my singing voice and acting skills are no longer definite to the classical repertoire but open to genres that elevate any project.

In conclusion, I am a refined artist who is always ready to challenge my perspectives to bring the best in performance. I have met the challenge of reconstructing myself over and over again through languages, and different living spaces, as for touching the discomfort of my identity. I am an advocate of authenticity and this has completely punctuated my life path.

Truly,

Steffi Dietz

BUSIME ( Love's Sake)

"Love's Sake" by Freed Mushaga, Masaka & Steffi is an anthem for unity. With Hypnotic chant setting the stage for hope & transformation, It urges us to look within and embrace love, the true path to progress. Love's compass guides us towards a brighter future, rising above division to heal the world, every day. It reminds us that the change we seek starts within, and together, with open hearts, we can build a more peaceful and loving world.

Keep our hope high

Let's Keep our Hope High   The song begins with a ritual chant, a greeting which includes all spiritual beings and their creator. In our material world, we often forget to give this priority. But the eternal is the true nature our spirit, even if the material is its partner. These kinds of rituals have been important for countless generations, but with time they are being forgotten. Yet it is precisely these which allow us to draw strength from the source. The song is a tribute to a ritual that is practiced by the indigenous Lakota people.
