Had the pleasure playing along side with Cat steavens/Yousof and a great record of musical projects as an Oud Player and Percussionist.
Ghassan was born in Akka Palestine.
to a musical family. his grand father "Sudki Shukry" was a professional Oud player, composer and singer.
studied classic eastern music in Cairo Academic Conservatory in 1936.
Ghassan featured in the Song Around The World “Peace Train” along side the master cat steavens in 2020.

The Wise Goat
Written around a traditional Zambian story that Theresa Ng'ambi's grandmother told her when she was a girl, this is a song about the importance of conserving our resources & caring for our natural world so that there is enough for everyone: enough for this generation, and for generations to come. With additional lyrics in Urdu, by Zara Madani, based on a conservation-themed traditional saying from Pakistan.
