Stranger Souma
Soumaya Laghiti, aka Stranger Souma, is a Sound artist, Dj & producer and multi-instrumentalist born and raised in the north African city of Casablanca. As a 90s kid, she grew up listening to hip hop, european made electronic music and enjoying african rhythms. Her music is House and Techno influenced, with ethereal organic instruments and hypnotic ambient atmospheres.
While keeping it up with her mission of creating more opportunities, and more access to music learning for women and gender minorities , she has recently collaborated with many Moroccan and international artists, researching and exploring the relationship between time and history, new technologies and the identity of modern Morocco, with its Amazigh, African and Arab influences.
This song is inspired by humanity and its differences, like flowers and their different and beautiful colors, with the genuine right to live and exist all equally, coexisting with the planet and the universe. This is how we are, different and with potential that can make this world more loving, beautiful and available for human and artistic co-creation. We have incorporated native languages from our territories in this song, from Argentina and Arabia. Revaluing the principles of our humanity to combine us as a new era that has memory and values
