Osée ELEKTRA
His real name is AKONKWA BUJIRIRI Osée, Elektra is a slam poet, rapper, community organizer and peace activist. He was awarded the best Slammer at the Kema Awards 2022.
Born in Goma in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, in a tense political context where he sees violence multiply, he grows up with a passion for art and sees in himself the desire to speak out on different subjects. On regional folklore and a cocktail of more contemporary rhythms, he deploys his pen to develop a singular style, called "Slam Elektrik". His work is for the awakening of the soul, like a song in the quest for harmony of chords. To enlighten the collective consciousness and rekindle hope, which earned him the nicknames "Slam Elektrik" and "Soldier".
Osée Elektra works within and with the community and is recognized for his explosive stage power, he regularly participates in several meetings and festivals.
