About me

Wenzhou, China

Hi all!
I am a Singer, Trumpet player, a musik teacher for Rhythm( Musik and Movement) and a Choir conductor of Chiao-ai Chor in Bern. At the same time I am also a student in HSLU( Hochschule Luzern-Musik) in switzerland and study in Musik and Movement. Beside the school, I am learning different Singing Style.( Pop-Belting, Jazz, Classic and Rock)

I begin my piano from 5 years old, since then I walked into Musik Wold. Then I learned Chinese Singing Technique when I was 7 years old. When I was 12 years old, I started to learn trumpet until 2022. Then I change to Music and Movement, because I have always so many ideas and I am also interested in singing, dancing and acting. I finished several shows in school with my special chinese-way and also sometimes singing or performing with other artist together.(Matthew Herbert, Carina Thurner...)

So, my story is still in continue, hope we can have precious memory in the future.

Project Music

Growing Pains

I found out about the project late. I quickly searched for a suitable beat on my computer. This beat was waiting there and has now found its purpose. My father was passing through the Philippines and met my 4-month-old daughter (she can also be heard on the track because I was just recording from home). Then I found Penko Baba from the Philippines and very quickly Yu answered me. Penko wrote a great rap and the hook and Yu quickly sent the trumpet via WhatsApp. It feels magical!

Echoes of Change

Four women from the Netherlands, China, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Switzerland came together to create 'Echoes of Change,' initially starting as a duo of voice and Guzheng. With Yu’s poems and Cordula as producer, the project blossomed into a vibrant mix of yodels, hip-hop, and Chinese poetry. This urgent anthem calls for global transformation, celebrating our diversity and urging unity. From initial doubt to eventual jubilation, it invites everyone to join the chorus: 'A change will come!' Let's stop the fighting and work towards a better world!
